MIA hosts Urban Planning and Development Conference

A two-day conference on Urban planning and development is taking place in Buchanan City, Grand Bassa County.
The capacity building seminar started on Monday, November 26 and is expected to end on Tuesday, November 27,2018.
The conference is under the theme "Building the Local Government Structures in Urban Affairs".
The Ministry of Internal Affairs organized the event with direct supervision of the Department of Urban Affairs where Honorable Paulita C.C. Wie serves as DeputyMinister.
Over one hundred participants are attending the conference to include County Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents for Development, City Mayors, District Commissioners and traditional leaders, among others.
The conference is being conducted with partnership from the United Cities and Local Governments of Africa (UCLGA) and UN Women
