Deputy Internal Affairs Minister heads Liberian Delegation to Namibia.

On Sunday,February 10, 2019, the Deputy Minister for Urban Affairs at the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Madam Paulita C.C. Wie headed a six-person Liberian delegation to participate in the Urban Forum on Informal Settlement Upgrading in Windhoek, Namibia.

Members of the Liberian Delegation are: Mr. Jerry Paye, who represents his NGO (YMCA, Liberia); Ms. Leona Monger, Ms. Marie Yarway and Mr. George Glaye all of the Liberian Federation For Urban Poor Savery and Mr. Es-Samir Bropleh, Coordinator, Slum Upgrading Unit/National Housing Authority.

The host of this forum is the Namibia Housing Action Group, with support from Slum Dwellers International. While in Namibia, the Liberian delegation is also expected to have a round table discussion with the the First Lady of Namibia, Her Excellency, Mrs. Monica Geingos in partnership with Slum Dwellers International, Shack Dwellers Federation of Namibia, and Namibia Housing Action Group on Thursday, February 14, 2019.
