Liberians called upon to trust in National Leadership.

Monrovia, April 22, 2019: Internal Affairs Minister has called on citizens to continue to trust the government as the President and his leadership are doing everything possible to serve the citizenry.

He frown on the proliferation of hate messages, Especially on social media, and at the same time calls on those serving in Government to thread carefully as the peace of the country is dependent largely on the conduct of people serving in various positions of trust.

Outlining some of the activities at the Ministry, Minister Sirleaf said he was pleased with the support of President George Weah toward decentralizing power to the people. He also added the progress made with communal farming in the various counties and the efforts citizens are making in producing food for the country.

On the issue of Boundaries and land related conflicts, he said the Ministry is working with the Liberia Land Authority to solve many of the boundary issues, like the resolution of the dispute between River Gee and Grand Gedeh Counties.

He appealed to the Superintendents in the various counties to be the "keepers of the citizens" and keep the counties peaceful and progressive.
