Monrovia, May 22, 2019: The Minister ofInternal Affairs Honorable Varney A. Sirleaf has suspended Mr. Amos L. Johnson, Commissioner of Yeabloe Administrative District, Grand Bassa County for time indefinite.
According to a release from the Internal Affairs Ministry, the suspension takes immediate effect.
Mr. Johnson was suspended for mismanagement of district development funds collected on behalf of the District as well as gross insubordination and constant disrespect to constituted county authority, including office of Superintendent Janjay Baikpeh.
The press release said the decision was taken in consultation with the Executive Mansion.
