Monrovia, August 13, 2018: The Director General of the Civil Service Agency Honorable Laurine Johnson on Monday paid a courtesy visit at the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The CSA DG in her remarks to Honorable Varney A. Sirleaf expressed her commitment to work with the current leadership of the Ministry in handling personnel payroll issues.

She requested that the Ministry provide an office space in each of the fifteen counties as to reduce the cost of Personnel analysts from the counties coming to Monrovia to process their payrolls.

She also proposed to have a tour of the counties in order to have information sharing meetings with employees of government in the various counties.

In response, Hon. Sirleaf welcomed the DG of the CSA and promised to work with her in getting the Ministry’s payroll strengthen and inclusive of real employees of government.

The Internal Affairs Minister called on the new CSC Director General to prioritize the long time problem of completing the employment of personnel through the Payroll Action Notice (PAN) Process.

Regarding the request for office space in the Counties for the CSA, Minister Sirleaf promised to work swiftly with County Administrations to identify space within County Administrative Buildings or County Service Centers.
