Gbarpolu Citizens present concerns to Government as Internal Affairs Minister visits the County

Bopolu City, October 25, 2018: Minister Varney Sirleaf and team continue tour of the counties, this time in Bopolu City, Gbarpolu County.

The jubilant citizens in a Town hall meeting welcomed the minister of Internal Affairs and informed him of the following issues confronting the county:

1. Some appointed local officials are working but yet to receive salaries
2. There are very few securities personnel in the county
3. The lack of mobility/vehicles for the Superintendent and officials office.
4. The deplorable condition of their roads.

Responding, the Minister promised to work on all the issues that he can as minister, and will also relate the other issues that has border with other sector Ministries and Agencies.
