In an effort to modernize its workforce, the Ministry of Internal Affairs has extended its personnel re-documentation exercise to four additional Counties, including include; Margibi, Grand Bassa, Bong and River Cess.

The extension of the exercise to these counties follows completion of the process at the Central Office in Monrovia and counties of Montserrado, Bomi, Grand Cape Mount and Gbarpolu respectively.

A statement from the Ministry says the process is aimed at rationalizing the payroll, so as to clearly identify all bonafide employees.

When completed, the excise will ensure establishment of a merit-based personnel management system which will provide necessary information on personnel qualification, need for capacity and maximize productivity.
The computerized system will safe guide the Ministry’s payroll and ensure just compensation and benefits to employees throughout the country.
