The Ministry of the Internal Affairs (MIA) has announced a three-day Administrative Retreat for its administrative staff and county authorities.
This first Fiscal Year 2012-2013 Administrative Retreat is scheduled to take place from Friday to Sunday, August 3-5, in Robertsport, Grand Cape Mount County.

The Retreat will provide an opportunity for the MIA Management Team to familiarize itself with major policies and programs of Government which require direct involvement and coordination of the Ministry.

The Ministry said the retreat will also feature a number of administrative protocols and procedures necessary for the smooth execution of the various tasks ahead.

Participants include the Ministry’s Deputy and Assistant Ministers as well as all County Superintendents and Assistant Superintendents for Development.
Representatives of the Finance Ministry, Civil Service Agency (CSA) and Public Procurement and Concession Commission (PPCC) are expected to lecture on key issues relating to their respective functions.
