INTERNAL AFFAIRS MINISTER PRAISES PRESIDENT ELLEN JOHNSON-SIRLEAF, DESCRIBES 2013 JULY 26 CELEBRATION AS SUCCESSFUL

Internal Affairs Minister Morris Dukuly has described this year`s July 26 celebration as a rewarding success.

 

Minister Dukuly believes the rotational celebration of the event in the counties will fast track development across the country.

 

He lauded President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf, whose constant visits to the counties added more vigour to the preparation process of the host counties.

 

The event hosted jointly by Bomi, Grand Cape Mount and Gbarpolu witnessed the dedication of more than 70-projects.

 

Some of the major ones undertaken in Gbarpolu include; the once difficult Belle Yallah road, the 16th judicial Circuit Court, Cash Center, school building, Bopolu City layout.

 

Those in Bomi include: the Gbai market, LDBI branch, Presidential guest house, Chiefs’ compound, Superintendent’s residence, bridges etc.

 

A Sport Stadium, Doctors’ quarters, 32-bed room Health Center, York Island Border Post, schools among others, formed part of the projects in Cape Mount County.

 

The projects were dedicated one after another, to the jubilation of the locals by President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf and Vice President Joseph Boakai as scores of government officials looked in appreciation.
