Ministry of Internal Affairs Employees Enhance Service Delivery Through Targeted Training Workshop
The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) proudly announces the successful launch of a specialized training program aimed at enhancing the skill sets of employees from various departments.
This initiative, held over the weekend, is a testament to the MIA’s commitment to elevating service delivery standards across both Central and local administrations.
The training workshop, spearheaded by the MIA Performance Management and Compliance System (PMCS) team in collaboration with the Manpower and Training Section, is designed to equip staff with essential tools and comprehensive knowledge. By doing so, the MIA aims to significantly improve the quality of services provided to the public, ensuring that they align with community expectations and needs.
Madam Patricia Dawolo, a key member of the PMCS team, emphasized the importance of this training initiative. “This exercise is an integral part of our comprehensive strategy to train employees at various service centers across all 15 counties,” she passionately stated. “We aim to ensure that every employee is well-prepared to deliver exceptional services to our citizens, fostering a more responsive and accountable government.”
The workshop featured contributions from several esteemed facilitators, including Mr. Emmanuel Wheiyue, Assistant Minister for Planning and Research; Mr. William Jallah, Assistant Minister for Culture; Mrs. Cecelia Gould, Gender Director and Mr. Festus Tarpar, the Monitoring and Evaluation focal person.
Their extensive knowledge and experience provided invaluable insights and practical guidance to participants, transforming the training into a dynamic and engaging learning experience. This collaborative effort reinforces the MIA's dedication to professional development and service excellence.
