The news that President AlassaneOuattara of La Cote d’Ivoire will deliver a major statement today has raised the interest of many Liberians and those of La Cote d’Ivoire.

Official pronouncement say that both Presidents Sirleaf and Ouattara will deliver ‘Special Statements’ today to the JCCEM immediately after the Chiefs and Elders signed their final Joint Communiqué.

But President Ouattara is also slated to deliver a major statement named and styled ‘the Zwedru Statement’, and that has caught the interest of many.

That announcement of the statement has sparked keen interest here in Zwedru and in many parts of both countries with many wondering about what the President will say.

‘I cannot tell you what President Ouattarawill say, but trust me, it will be a statement of major importance,” an official of Cote d’Ivoire here in Zwedru said.
