Empowering Local Leadership: A Pictorial of the Transformative Forum Hosted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and NAYMOTE in Bong County

The Ministry of Internal Affairs, in partnership with NAYMOTE, organized an impactful forum for local leaders from Montserrado, Nimba, and Grand Bassa Counties in Gbarnga City, Bong County. This full-day session brought together dedicated officials committed to improving the quality of life in their counties.

Deputy Minister for Research and Planning, Edward K. Mulbah, emphasized the crucial importance of strengthening the capacities of local government officials throughout Liberia. His insights set the stage for engaging discussions centered around the Local Government Act (LGA) and its transformative potential.

Mr. Eddie Jarwolo, Executive Director of NAYMOTE, passionately reinforced the idea that the true strength of our nation lies in empowering our local government structures. He highlighted that this initiative is a cornerstone of the Democracy Advancement Program (DAP), representing a significant step toward the effective implementation of our laws and fostering meaningful improvements in our county.
