After spending most of the day in Zorzor, Minister of Internal Affairs Hon. Francis Sakila Nyumalin arrived late in Sanniquellie to hold a consultative, conflict-resolution meeting with chiefs of Nimba County. Joined by D. Emmanuel Wheinyue, Assistant Minister for Research and Development Planning, the Minister convened talks to address ongoing disagreements among Paramount Chiefs.

On Friday, August 8, 2025, at the Administrative Building in Sanniquellie, Minister Nyumalin reconvened the chiefs to review a vote of no confidence brought by Paramount Chiefs against the Chairman of the Council of Chiefs of Nimba, and to consider the appointment of the recently recommended Paramount, Clan, and General Town Chiefs. On the platform, the Minister was flanked by Nimba County Superintendent Hon. Kou Meapeh Gono and Assistant Minister Wheinyue.
